The cottage features a spacious living area where your family can spend quality time together, sharing stories and playing games in front of the log burner, and creating lasting holiday memories.
The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing family meals, and the dining area provides ample space for everyone to gather and enjoy delicious home-cooked favourites.

Bedrooms Designed for Restful Nights

The cottage offers comfortable and thoughtfully furnished bedrooms to ensure you and your children can rest and rejuvenate after a day on the beach or exploring the beautiful surroundings.
There are two double bedrooms for the adults and a four-bed "dormitory" style room for the children.

If you are looking for additional accommodation, there is the opportunity to rent the next-door cottage. Please ask for details and more information on this.

Outdoor Spaces

There is a small garden down a short garden path, a perfect place for shady picnics, or a safe place for children to play and explore. The cottage terrace is great for alfresco dining, and sitting out in the sunshine at wine-o’clock. Wander up to the top of the steps, and you will find a seating area overlooking the stunning Salcombe Harbour and estuary, the perfect place for your morning coffee.

Cowrie Cottage is located in East Portlemouth, located just over the estuary from the vibrant destination of Salcombe, Devon. There is a lovely farm shop and cafe located just up the road from Cowrie Cottage called Village Farm Cafe. Being located so closely to Salcombe, families have easy access to an array of exciting activities. With its sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rugged coastal paths, Salcombe provides an idyllic backdrop for a quintessentially British summer holiday.
From boat trips along the stunning coastline, family picnics by the sea, nearby national trust properties, and exploring Salcombe town, your days will be filled with endless adventures.
